These are easier to eat if you peel the tomatoes before you slice them but I usually don't bother.

Tomatoes, sliced thin
Butter, softened
Salt and Pepper
Bread, thin sliced and crusts removed
Instructions
Butter the bread slices and cover the surface of half of them with tomatoe slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover the tomatoes with another slice of bread and press firmly. Cut into 3 finger slices.
