1 lb green split peas
32 oz fat free chicken broth
1 turkey ham steak-small cubes
8 baby carrots chopped
2 tsp onion salt
Recipe
Set slow cooker on high and add cleaned split peas ,16 oz chicken broth, and onion salt. After 4 hours, add diced ham , carrots,and 4 oz more of the broth. Add remaining broth if it looks dry. Total cooking time is 8 hours, or until split peas soften and start to break down slightly.
