    List of Ingredients


    • 1C. SUGAR
    • 1/4+2 tsp.corn starch
    • 1/8 tsp.salt
    • 3 eggs ,beaten
    • 3.c milk
    • 11/2 Tbsp.butter
    • 1/2 tsp.vanilla
    • 1/2c.coconut
    • 1(9-inch) BAKED pie shell


    Instructions


    1. Combine sugar,cornstarch, and salt in a heavy saucepan.
    2. Stir well.
    3. Add eggs and milk.
    4. mix well.
    5. Cook over medium heat,stirring constantly,until mixture boils and thickens.
    6. Remove from heat.
      Stir in coconut.
    7. Stir in butter and vanilla.
    8. Pour into pie shell
    9. Cover with wax paper.
    10. Let cool for 30 minutes
    11. Chill until firm.
    12. Spread with cool whip over the top and return to the refigertor until time to serve
