3 Bartlett pears
2 Granny Smith apples
1 1/2 cups cranberries
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup margarine Recipe
Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, mix pears and apples (both peeled, cored, quartered and thinly sliced), cranberries, cinnamon, granulated sugar and cornstarch; toss well. Spread evenly into 9-inch baking dish or pie pan. In medium bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in margarine (cut into small pieces); mix with fork or fingers until mixture resembles small peas. Spread topping evenly over fruit mixture; bake 30-40 minutes until browned and bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
