    Cincinnati Chili Dip Recipe

    Source of Recipe

    Friend from Cincinnati

    List of Ingredients

1 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
    1/4 cup finely diced onions
13-15 oz Cincinnati chili, heated (Skyline is great!)
    8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

    Recipe

Spread cream cheese evenly on bottom of an 8" x 8" baking pan. Sprinkle with diced onions. Layer heated chili over the onions and cream cheese. Top evenly with the cheddar.

Heat in 350 deg F oven for 10 minutes. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips for dipping, and a bottle of cayenne pepper hot sauce (such as Frank's or Crystal) on the side.

    Serves 8-12.

My Notes: Made this for Christmas eve 2006; huge hit! Used some leftover Cincinnati chili that I had frozen.
