    SHRIMP STROGANOFF IN PASTRY SHELLS

    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 1/2 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1/4 c. minced onion
    8 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 c. sour cream
    salt, pepper and cayenne
    frozen puff pastry shells, baked

    Recipe



    Season shrimp with salt, pepper and cayenne; set aside. Lightly saute mushrooms and onion in butter; cover and cook 3 or 4 minutes. Add seasoned shrimp and saute 2 or 3 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for a few minutes. Add whipping cream and sour cream and heat slowly, stirring constantly. Do not boil. Season. Serve in puff pastry shells.
