    Syrup Mixture
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1 egg yolk
    1 egg white, stiffly beaten
    Cream sugar and butter. Add maple syrup, then egg yolk. Fold in beaten egg white. Set aside.

    Batter
    6 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    Pinch of nutmeg

    Recipe



    Mix together. Dip chunks of French bread into batter, then into hot oil in fondue pot until golden. Serve with maple syrup mixture.
