Tiramisu Fondue

1 tablespoon instant espresso powder (or substitute instant coffee powder)
1 tablespoon boiling water
17 ounces mascarpone cheese
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons sweet (not dry) Marsala wine
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 large egg yolksRecipe
1.) In a small pot mix espresso powder in boiling water
2.) Over medium heat combine the espresso liquid, mascarpone, confectioners' sugar, Marsala and cornstarch, mashing with a rubber spatula until the mascarpone has melted and the mixture is smooth.
3.) In a medium bowl, whisk the egg yolks to combine
4.) Gradually whisk the egg yolks into the mascarpone mixture
5.) Cook for about 2 minutes until the fondue has thickened
6.) Transfer to fondue pot and keep warm over a burner.
Suggested Serving: Chocolate cubes, ladyfingers, strawberries, and peaches cut in wedges
