List of Ingredients
4 turkey bacon strips
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 (15-16 oz.) can fat-free refried beans
1/4 cup picante sauce
1 (14.5-oz.) can low-sodium chicken broth
1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsleyRecipe
In a medium saucepan coated with nonstick cooking spray, cook bacon until crisp; remove to paper towel to drain. Crumble and set aside.
In the same saucepan, sauté onion and celery; sprinkle with garlic powder. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add beans, picante sauce, broth, parsley and bacon; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and
simmer, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes more.
Yield: 4 Servings.
