1/4 cup red-wine or sherry vinegar
1 Tbsp minced fresh Italian or regular parsley
1 Tbsp chopped chives or scallions
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
pinch dried savory or oregano
pinch sugar
pinch cayenne pepper
