    1/2 lb. elbow macaroni, raw (cook about 7 mins. & drain)
    2 T. margarine
    1/2 t. salt
    2 T. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 egg, lightly beaten

    Topping:
    Extra shredded cheddar cheese
    1 T. margarine

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease a 2 qt. baking dish. Mix all ingredients. Top casserole with extra cheddar cheese and dot with 1 T. add'l margarine. Bake about 20 - 30 mins. until it's bubbling around the edges.

    I use SHARP cheddar cheese.
