    1 (10-ounce) package broccoli slaw
    ½ cup sunflower seeds
    1 bunch green onions
    ½ cup slivered almonds
    1 package chicken ramen noodles
    8 ounces cooked chicken strips (or more to taste)
    Seasoning packet from noodles
    ¼ cup water
    3 tablespoons oil, such as peanut or sesame
    3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (add a touch of soy sauce if desired)

    Mix slaw, sunflower seeds, onions and almonds in medium-size bowl. Break up uncooked ramen noodles and add. Add chicken and loosely toss.

    In jar, mix seasoning packet, water, oil and vinegar. Shake well. Pour over slaw mixture and thoroughly incorporate. Chill. Flavor improves overnight. Makes 6 servings.
