    Hot Shrimp Dip

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 C. onions, finely minced
    • 1 T. butter
    • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    • 1 8 oz. carton sour cream
    • 1- 4 1/2 oz. can deveined shrimp, drained
    • 1 T. lemon juice
    • 1/2 t. salt
    • 1/4 t. white pepper
    • Dash of Tabasco sauce
    • 1/4 t. chili powder
    • 1/4 t. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/4 t. garlic salt
    • Paprika to add pink color


    Instructions


    1. Saute' onion in butter.

    2. Stir in cream cheese and sour cream.

    3. Add shrimp, mashing into bits with rubber spatula.

    4. Add lemon juice and seasonings.

    5. Serve warm from small chafing dish, accompanied by potato chips or corn chips.

    6. Yields about 3 cups.
