German Apple Cake

List of Ingredients
- 2 large or 3 small eggs
- 1 C. salad oil or butter
- 2 C. sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 2 C. flour
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. salt
- 4 C. apples, thinly sliced (approx. 5)
- 1 C. nuts
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 large cream cheese
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 pkg. powdered sugar
Instructions
- Beat eggs and oil until foamy.
- Add sugar, vanilla, soda, flour, cinnamon, and salt. (Batter is thick.)
- Add apples and nuts.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
- Frosting - Mix last 4 ingredients together.
- Serves 12-15.
