German Apple Cake

List of Ingredients



• 2 large or 3 small eggs
  
• 1 C. salad oil or butter
  
• 2 C. sugar
  
• 1 t. vanilla
  
• 2 C. flour
  
• 1 t. cinnamon
  
• 1/2 t. salt
  
• 4 C. apples, thinly sliced (approx. 5)
  
• 1 C. nuts
  
• 1/2 lb. butter
  
• 1 large cream cheese
  
• 1 t. vanilla
  
• 1 pkg. powdered sugar
  






Instructions



1. Beat eggs and oil until foamy.
   
   
2. Add sugar, vanilla, soda, flour, cinnamon, and salt. (Batter is thick.)
   
   
3. Add apples and nuts.
   
   
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
   
   
5. Frosting - Mix last 4 ingredients together.
   
   
6. Serves 12-15.
