    Cranberry Jezebel Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. water
    • 1/2 C. sugar
    • 1/2 C. light brown sugar
    • 12oz. fresh cranberries
    • 1/2 C. pineapple preserves
    • 3 T. prepared horseradish
    • 1 T. Dijon mustard


    Instructions


    1. Bring first 3 ingredients to boil, stirring often, in saucepan over med-high heat; add cranberries.

    2. Bring back to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often, until skins pop and mixture starts to thicken.

    3. Remove from heat.

    4. Stir in preserves, horseradish, and mustard; remove from heat and let cool.

    5. Cover and chill.

    6. As an appetizer - Pour over cream cheese and serve with crackers.

    7. As a sauce - great with turkey.
