Italian Pasta Sausage Soup

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. hot or sweet Italian sausage links
- 1 28oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up
- 1 14.5oz. can chicken broth
- 1 8oz. can no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 1 t. dried basil leaves
- 1 t. dried oregano leaves
- 1 16oz. pkg. Pasta Accents Garlic Seasoning Frozen Vegetables and Pasta
- 2 T. Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Place sausage in 5qt, Dutch oven.
- Add water to a depth of about 1/2 inch.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes or until sausage is partially cooked.
- Drain.
- Cut sausage into slices;return to saucepan.
- Add tomatoes, chicken broth, tomato sauce, basil and oregano; blend well.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat;cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in frozen vegetables and pasta.
- Cover; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Garnish with parmesan cheese.
- 6 (1 1/2 cup) servings.
