Chicken A La King

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 3 cups cubed cooked chicken
Instructions
- In medium sized pan, add water to cover chicken. Bring to a boil, and then simmer until chicken is cooked completly.
- Reserve the chicken broth (1 3/4 cups). Cut chicken into bite size cubes.
- In large skillet melt butter; blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
- Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is bubbly.
- Remove from heat; stir in cream and broth.
- Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; boil and stir 1 minute.
- Stir in chicken; heat through.
- Serve over biscuits.
