    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 2 cups milk
    • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
    • 3 cups cubed cooked chicken


    Instructions


    1. In medium sized pan, add water to cover chicken. Bring to a boil, and then simmer until chicken is cooked completly.
    2. Reserve the chicken broth (1 3/4 cups). Cut chicken into bite size cubes.
    3. In large skillet melt butter; blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
    4. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is bubbly.
    5. Remove from heat; stir in cream and broth.
    6. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; boil and stir 1 minute.
    7. Stir in chicken; heat through.

    8. Serve over biscuits.
