    CAKE & ICE CREAM SQUARES1 chocolate or spice cake mix 1 half gallon vanilla ice cream (square box works best)Mix cake according to package instructions. Bake in a greased jelly roll pan. When cool, cut the cake into pieces the same size as the long side of the box of ice cream. Slice ice cream into 3 pieces, length wise. Layer: cake, ice cream, cake, ice cream, ending with cake. Make a smaller version with leftover pieces of cake and ice cream. Wrap in plastic wrap and foil then refreeze.
