Orange Spice Tea Cake

List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c whole-wheat flour
- 1 c sugar
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 T grated orange zest
- 3/4 c freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 c dark molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1 T canola oil
- 1/2 c finely chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Whisk together the flours, sugar, pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the orange zest and juice, molasses, egg and oil in a medium bowl. Pour into the flour mixture and stir just to blend; fold in the walnuts. Pour into the pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 1 hour. Cool completely on a rack.
