Bacon Potato Chowder

8 slices bacon
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, chopped or crushed
1 3/4 cups milk
2 cups cubed potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper, to taste
1 cup water
1 can of cream of chicken soup
Recipe
Fry bacon until crisp. Add onion, garlic and saut� for 2 or 3 minutes. Drain, add potatoes and water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes. Stir in soup and sour cream. Gradually add milk and seasonings.
Heat to serving temperature. Serve with a pat of butter.
Serve.
