    Nutty Stuffed Mushrooms

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/4 pound of large mushrooms
    • 2 Tbsps. olive oil
    • 3 Tbsps. margarine
    • 2 garlic cloves minced
    • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (English)
    • 1/3 cup Pepperidge Farms herb-seasoned bag stuffing
    • 1/2 cup (2 oz) shredded Italian cheese blend
    • 1 large egg, slightly beaten
    • 1/4 tsp. salt


    Instructions


    1. Remove stems and finely chop; brush outside of muchroom caps with oil.

    2. Melt margarine in large skillet and add chopped stems, garlic and walnuts. Saute 3 to 4 minutes.

    3. Remove from heat and stir in stuffing and next 3 ingredients. Spoon into caps and put on ungreased baking sheet.

    4. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes



    Final Comments


    This is also good with Portabella mushrooms.
