Nutty Stuffed Mushrooms

List of Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pound of large mushrooms
- 2 Tbsps. olive oil
- 3 Tbsps. margarine
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (English)
- 1/3 cup Pepperidge Farms herb-seasoned bag stuffing
- 1/2 cup (2 oz) shredded Italian cheese blend
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Remove stems and finely chop; brush outside of muchroom caps with oil.
- Melt margarine in large skillet and add chopped stems, garlic and walnuts. Saute 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in stuffing and next 3 ingredients. Spoon into caps and put on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes
Final Comments
This is also good with Portabella mushrooms.
