    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 c. flour
    • 1/2 c. brown sugar
    • 1/2 c. oleo
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 6 oz chocolate chips
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 c. brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 tbsp. flour
    • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1 1/2 c. flaked coconut


    Instructions


    1. Combine flour, brown sugar, oleo and salt. Work with pastry blender until crumbly. Pat evenly into ungreased 9x13 pan.
    2. Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot crust; return to oven for 1 minute to soften. Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips evenly. Beat eggs until thick and light color; beat in sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour mixed with baking powder and salt. Then coconut. Spread evenly over chocolate layer.
    3. Bake 375 degrees for 14 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
