Marshmallow Brownies

List of Ingredients
- 2/3 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 20 large marshmallows
- FROSTING:
- 2 squares chocolate (Bakers)
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
Instructions
- Melt oleo. Blend in cocoa. Add and beat eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt and chopped nuts. Mix.
- Bake in greased 10 X 15 pan. 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cover with 20 large marshmallows cut in half. Return to oven long enough to soften the marshmallows. Spread with spatula and cool.
- CHOCOLATE FROSTING: Melt Bakers Chocolate with butter. Add evaporated milk and heat. Add salt and vanilla. Put in mixer bowl. Add powdered sugar. Beat until smooth, then spread on brownies.
