    List of Ingredients


    • 2 c. sugar
    • 2/3 c. Pet Milk
    • Dash of salt
    • 12 regular marshmallows
    • 1/2 c. oleo
    • 1 - 6-oz. cherry chips
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • TOPPING:
    • 12-oz. chocolate chips
    • 3/4 c. peanut butter
    • 1 tbsp. oleo
    • 1 - 10-oz. bag crushed salted peanuts


    Instructions


    1. Combine sugar, milk, salt, marshmallows, and oleo in heavy pan over medium heat. Boil 5 minutes (scorches easily, so watch and stir.) Remove from heat, add chips and vanilla; stir until well blended. Pour into 9 X 13 buttered pan and chill. (If you have time to let it chill, or even freeze over night, it makes it easier to add the topping.)

    2. TOPPING: Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and oleo in double boiler or microwave. Add crushed peanuts and spread over cherry mixture. Chill.



    Final Comments


    You can place half of the chocolate mixture in the pan, then add the cherry mixture, then the rest of the chocolate.
