- 2 c. sugar
- 1 small can -- 5 1/3 oz. evaporated milk
- 1 - 6-oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 lb. oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Bring to boil slowly sugar and evaporated milk. After it starts to boil, boil for 6 minutes.
- Add chocolate chips, oleo, and vanilla. Beat with mixer until thick; add 1/2 c. nuts (optional).
- Place in buttered 8 X 8 pan. Cool and cut into 36 pieces.
- This freezes well in a tight container.
