Peanut Brittle

List of Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 c. white syrup
- 1 lb. raw peanuts
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Boil sugar, water and white syrup until hard ball or 250 degrees. Keep stirring and keep pan on stove; add peanuts, butter, and salt. Stir until a light brown. Bring to 300 degrees and remove from stove to add soda and vanilla.
- Place in a well buttered cookie sheet. Cool and break.
