List of Ingredients
- 5 green peppers, diced
- 5 jalepeno peppers, diced
- 4 qts. tomatoes, peeled and diced
- 2/3 c. onion, chopped
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. sugar (needs less)
- 5 tsp. canning salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2/3 tsp. red pepper
Instructions
- Mix well and let simmer for 2 hours.
- TO THICKEN: skim off 1/2-3/4 c. juice (I do 1/2)---let cool. Mix 4-5 Tbsp. cornstarch (I do 5) and add to remaining juice.
- Seal in hot jars.
