    Beef Stroganoff

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2# round steak, tenderized or pounded
    • flour
    • salt
    • pepper
    • butter--used for browning the meat
    • 1 small can of mushrooms
    • 1/2 c. chopped onions
    • 1 can beef broth
    • 1 c. sour cream
    • egg noodles


    Instructions


    1. Tenderize the round steak....then cut into chunks about 1" x 1" or to your likings. Roll in the flour. Salt and pepper. Brown in a pan that has butter in it. Also sautee your onions with this.

    2. When all meat is fried, add mushrooms and beef broth.

    3. Cook 1 hour on low until tender. Add 1 c. sour cream.

    4. Cook low for 5 minutes and serve over egg noodles.



    Final Comments


    To make it so that it is not too dry, I sometimes add a extra can of beef broth.
