    This recipe is for cooking in a crockpot.


    List of Ingredients


    • small beef roast or 1/2 roast
    • 1 can tomato juice
    • 2-3 heaping spoons beef boullion
    • 3/4-1 cup barley
    • THESE 3 COMBINED NEED TO EQUAL 8 c. of VEGGIES:
    • carrots
    • celery
    • onion


    Instructions


    1. Put roast in crockpot frozen and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
    2. Break meat up into small pieces.
    3. Add tomato juice (you can add whole tomatoes chopped up). Cook on low until hot or overnight.
    4. Put cut up veggies in bowl and microwave for 7 minutes on high.
    5. Add veggies, barley and bouillon 1 hour before serving.


    Final Comments


    This makes a big pot of soup.
