This recipe is for cooking in a crockpot.
List of Ingredients
- small beef roast or 1/2 roast
- 1 can tomato juice
- 2-3 heaping spoons beef boullion
- 3/4-1 cup barley
- THESE 3 COMBINED NEED TO EQUAL 8 c. of VEGGIES:
- carrots
- celery
- onion
Instructions
- Put roast in crockpot frozen and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Break meat up into small pieces.
- Add tomato juice (you can add whole tomatoes chopped up). Cook on low until hot or overnight.
- Put cut up veggies in bowl and microwave for 7 minutes on high.
- Add veggies, barley and bouillon 1 hour before serving.
Final Comments
This makes a big pot of soup.
