    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 c. millk
    • 2 egg yolks
    • 3 Tbsp. butter
    • 1/4 # cheese, chopped
    • 3 c. mashed potatoes
    • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    • salt and paprika to taste


    Instructions


    1. Heat milk in pan, add cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Beat the egg yolks in a small amount of milk and add to the cheese sauce. Stir smooth and add to the mashed potatoes, whipping until light and fluffy.
    2. Add butter, then stiffly beaten egg whites.
    3. Season with salt and paprika. Put into buttered baking dish; sprinkle on grated cheese.
    4. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
