    1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated fettuccine pasta
    3 tablespoons soy sauce
    3 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    2 garlic cloves, crushed with garlic press
    2 teaspoons grated, peeled fresh ginger
    3 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
    2 packages (about 4 ounces each) roasted chicken-breast halves with bones, skin removed and meat coarsely shredded (2 cups)
    2 medium carrots, grated

    Recipe



    1. In large saucepot, prepare pasta in boiling water as label directs but do not add salt.
    2. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil.
    3. In nonstick 12-inch skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, and cook 1 minute, stirring.
    4. Drain pasta well, reserving 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Return pasta to saucepot; set reserved cooking water aside.
    5. Reserve 1 tablespoon sliced green onion. Add chicken, carrots, fettuccine, reserved pasta cooking water, soy-sauce mixture, and remaining green onions to skillet. Cook 5 minutes or until hot, tossing until mixed. Sprinkle with reserved green onion to serve.
