    Sausage Swiss Muffins

    List of Ingredients


    • 8 oz pork sausage
    • 1 3/4 cup biscuit/baking mix
    • 3/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink; drain. Mix together dry ingredients and mix wet ingredients. Mix the wet into the dry just until moistened. Fold in cheese and sausage. Put in greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers. Yields around 9 muffins.
