    1. Get lots of tomatoes. Dip them in a hot bath to pull off the peels. Add 1 tsp of vinegar per quart and 1 tsp salt per quart. Boil the tomatoes for 20 -39 minutes. Pour into hot quart jars that are soaking in hot water then seal with lids. Works well with 2 people. When adding jars after the first batch, lay the jars down and roll it to get it hot quicker and so it won't break. Boil the lids too.
      *Instead of peeling tomatoes, run them through the blender and if desired run them through a strainer to get out seeds and then add green pepper and onion and puree in th blender.
