Laura's Broccoli Soup

List of Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons of oil
- 1 medium onion
- 6 cups water
- 6 chicken bullion cubs
- 1 -1 1/2 cup of fine egg noodles (crushed)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 10 oz bags of frozen broccoli
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 6 cups of milk
- 1 1/2 # of Velveeta
Instructions
- Saute onion in oil. Add water and cubes to boil gradually. Add noodles to boil. Cook 3 minutes. Add broccoli, garlic powder, and salt. Return to boil for 4 minutes. Cool a bit. Then add milk, cheese and pepper. Keep cooking to melt cheese. Do not boil after adding the milk. If the cheese has been softened or cooked, it goes even faster.
