Jon's Teriyaki Sauce
Recipe Introduction
Good basic recipe for meat, chicken, or fish.
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup very dry sherry
- one or two cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 T. grated ginger
- 2 T. white sugar
- 1 T. cornstarch
Instructions
- On med. setting heat the soy sauce and dry sherry.
- Add the grated ginger, garlic, and sugar then cook for about 1 min.
- Mix the cornstarch with about 3 extra T. of soy sauce that is cold or at room temp.
- Add the conrstarch mixture and heat, continuously stirring until it thickens.
