    Christmas Morning Sausage Rolls

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups bisquick
    • 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 lbs. sausage
    • 1 - 7 oz. can chopped green chilies


    Instructions


    1. Mix bisquick, butter, and milk.
    2. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    3. Mix sausage and green chilies and let stand at room temperature.
    4. Divide dough in half.
    5. Roll out on wax paper and make a rectangle 1/4 inch thick.
    6. Spread 1/2 of sausage mixture on to dough and roll into long jelly roll.
    7. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in freezer for 1 hour.
    8. Repeat process for other half of ingredients.
    9. Cut rolls into 1/3 inch slices.
    10. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.


    Final Comments


    Freezes well in ziploc bags. Makes 50-60 rolls.
