Honey Whole Wheat Rolls

List of Ingredients
- 2 pkgs. active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup melted margarine
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- about 2 3/4 cup all purpose flour
Instructions
- In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
- Stir in margarine, honey, egg, whole wheat flour, oats, salt, and 1 cup of all purpose flour.
- Beat until smooth.
- Add enough remaining all purpose flour to form a soft dough.
- Turn onto floured surface and knead dough until smooth and elastic (about 6 minutes).
- Place in greased pan turning once to grease the top.
- Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled.
- Punch dough down.
- Shape into rolls.
- Place in greased baking pan.
- Cover and let rise until doubled.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Brush with margarine.
