Chocolate Fudge Cake

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- Frosting ingredients:
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 stick margarine
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Mix together flour and sugar.
- Combine in pan 2 sticks margarine, 4 Tbsp. cocoa, and water.
- Bring to a boil and pour over sugar/flour mixture.
- Then add buttermilk, soda, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and eggs.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour into 9 X 13 pan.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
- Frosting directions:
- Bring cocoa, margarine, and milk to a boil for 1 minute.
- Then add powdered sugar, pecans, and vanilla.
- Frost the cake while it is still warm.
