    Recipe Introduction


    My grandmother made this for me every time it was my birthday. I LOVE it!!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. white cake mix
    • 1 pkg. sm. strawberry gelatin
    • 1/2 10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    • 1/3 cup cooking oil
    • 1/2 cup cold water
    • 4 egg whites
    • Icing:
    • 1 lb. powdered sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 1/2 10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed


    Instructions


    1. Mix cake mix, gelatin, 1/2 pkg. strawberries, oil, water, and egg whites together.
    2. Beat for 5 minutes at low speed.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
    4. Let cool.
    5. Mix all the icing ingredients.
    6. Beat well until thick and creamy.
    7. Spread on cake.
