    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cup sugar
    • 1 cup Karo syrup
    • 1 cup water
    • 4 egg whites
    • 2 cups nuts
    • 1 tsp. vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Boil sugar, karo, and water until there is crackling sound when dropped in water.
    2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
    3. Slowly pour hot mixture over egg whites while beating with mixer on high speed.
    4. Be careful not to let mixer motor over heat.
    5. Beat until mixture becomes glossy.
    6. Add nuts and vanilla.
    7. Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper.
