Ice Box Cookies

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups butter
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 5 1/2 cups flour
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Divide into 4 or more pieces.
- Roll each piece into a long roll approximately 2 inches in diameter.
- Put in refrigerator until firm.
- Slice approximately 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick.
- Slice only the number of cookies you want to cook.
- Place on cookie sheet approximately 1 inch apart.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 6-7 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold.
Final Comments
Dough will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks.
