My mom made this many times during the winter time. I now make it for my family during the winter time. I LOVE it!!
List of Ingredients
- 6 or 7 potatoes
- 1 carrot, grated up thin
- 1 onion, cut up small
- 5 cups water
- pepper and salt to taste
- 4 oz. velveeta cheese (I use more.)
- 2 chicken bouillion cubes
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 can evaporated milk
Instructions
- Cook potatoes, carrot, onion, bouillion cubes and water for about an hour (or until potatoes are tender) on the stove.
- Add velveeta cheese, butter, and milk. Heat until warm, constantly stirring.
- Do not scorch.
