    Hot Garlic Dill Pickles

    List of Ingredients


    • cucumbers
    • fresh garlic
    • dill seed
    • green peppers
    • 1 qt. apple cider vinegar
    • 2 qts. water
    • 1 cup salt


    Instructions


    1. Wash cucumbers and pack in cold quart jars.
    2. Add about 3 buttons fresh garlic per quart.
    3. Add 2-3 hot green peppers.
    4. Place fresh dill on top or use 2 tsp. dill seed.
    5. Mix 1 qt. apple cider vinegar, 2 qts. water, and 1 cup salt (not iodized).
    6. Bring to a boil and pour over cucumbers. (Should be enough for 6 quarts).


    Final Comments


    Let sit for 3 months before opening.
