Recipe Introduction
I use the Wilton 3-D Mini Skull Pan which makes 4 skulls. Sadly, its no longer seems to be available unless you find one on ebay, etc.
List of Ingredients
- No-stick spray
- 1 Pillsbury Pizza dough
- Pizza sauce
- Pepperoni slices
- Shredded pizza cheese
Instructions
- Spray the inside of your pan.
- Cut pizza dough into 4 pieces.
- Snuggle them down into the cavities in the pan with enough to come up over the top all around the opening.
- Spoon into each: 1 1/2 Tablespoons of sauce, 3 pepperoni slices quartered, and 1/4 C. shredded pizza cheese.
- Pinch together the seams. (I've used toothpicks if they won't stay down or you can brush with egg wash.)
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Bake for 18 - 20 minutes until crust is golden brown. The faces will be much darker so do not overbake.
- Carefully turn the mold over onto the counter so the skulls fall out.
- They can be refrigerated for up to two days or freeze for up to a month.
- Non frozen ones can be reheated at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Final Comments
These are a must for Halloween parties along with "Snake" Stromboli.
