    Whatever flavor Jello you use makes these press cookies that color - no need for food coloring.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 C. flour
    • 1 tsp. baking powder
    • 1 1/2 C. butter
    • 1 C. sugar
    • 1 pkg. Jello, any flavor
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tsp vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Mix flour with baking powder, set aside.
    2. Cream butter. Gradually add Jello and sugar, cream well after each addition.
    3. Add egg and vanilla, beat well.
    4. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing after each addition until smooth.
    5. Force dough through cookie press onto ungreased baking sheets.
    6. Decorate by sprinkling with extra Jello or your favorite non-pareils.
    7. Bake at 400 deg. about 13 or 14 minutes.

    My mom always made these at Christmas time. It makes alot and everybody loves them.
