Egg Custard Pie

List of Ingredients
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 C. milk, scalded
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Instructions
- Blend eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
- Gradually stir in scalded milk.
- Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Bake at 350 deg. 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted halfway in center comes out clean.
- Cool on rack; then chill.
