    Egg Custard Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
    • 1/2 C. sugar
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 1/2 C. milk, scalded
    • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell


    Instructions


    1. Blend eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.

    2. Gradually stir in scalded milk.

    3. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    4. Bake at 350 deg. 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted halfway in center comes out clean.

    5. Cool on rack; then chill.
