Stuffed Bell Peppers

- Green peppers (about 6 large)
- 1 lb. Ground beef
- 1 C. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 - 15 oz. cans of tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
Instructions
- Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds. Cook in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.
- Mix ground meat, rice, seasonings and cheddar cheese. Stuff peppers and place in a baking dish.
- In a saucepan combine tomato sauce and seasonings heat through. Pour over peppers.
- Cover. Bake at 350 deg. for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
