    Stuffed Bell Peppers

    List of Ingredients


    • Green peppers (about 6 large)
    • 1 lb. Ground beef
    • 1 C. cooked rice
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese
    • 2 - 15 oz. cans of tomato sauce
    • 1 tsp. minced onion
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. sugar
    • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp. cloves


    Instructions


    1. Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds. Cook in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.

    2. Mix ground meat, rice, seasonings and cheddar cheese. Stuff peppers and place in a baking dish.

    3. In a saucepan combine tomato sauce and seasonings heat through. Pour over peppers.

    4. Cover. Bake at 350 deg. for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
