Parsley Mushroom Gravy

Recipe Introduction
This chicken gravy is easy to make. If you don't have chicken broth use 2 chicken boullion cubes and 2 cups of water.
List of Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Drippings, butter or margarine
- 4 Tbsp. Flour
- 2 C. chicken broth
- 1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat drippings in a small saucepan.
- Add flour and cook over medium heat, stirring, until golden brown.
- Add broth; bring to a boil over high heat.
- Cook, stirring, until thickened.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Serve over hot fluffy rice.
- Makes about 2 cups.
