    List of Ingredients


    • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
    • 2 egg yolks (reserve whites)
    • 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tsp. parsley
    • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1 tsp. oregano
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. oil
    • 1/2 lb. pepperoni, cut-up
    • 2 C. Provolone cheese, grated
    • 2 C. Mozzerella cheese, grated
    • Egg whites


    Instructions


    1. Roll bread dough out to a rectangle about the size of a cookie sheet.

    2. In a small bowl mix egg yolks, Parmesan, seasonings, and oil. Spread over dough.

    3. Cover with pepperoni and cheese and roll like a jelly roll.

    4. Place seam-side down and greased cookie sheet.

    5. Brush with egg whites.

    6. Bake at 350 deg. for 30 - 40 minutes or until golden brown.

    7. Slice and serve.



    Final Comments


    For Halloween: Save 2 small bits of dough for eyes and cut a piece of pepperoni into a forked tongue. Shape stromboli into an "S" & attach eyes with toothpicks using dots of food color for pupils. Add some yellow food color to egg whites & brush on, add green to rest and brush on spots for snake skin. Add tongue. and bake as usual.
