    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. creamed corn
    • 1 C. flour
    • 1 Tbsp. sugar
    • 3 tsp. baking powder
    • 3/4 tsp. salt
    • 1 egg, separated
    • Vegetable oil


    Instructions


    1. Combine corn, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg yolk. Mix well.
    2. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter.
    3. Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil (375 deg.). Deep-fry until golden brown about 3 to 4 minutes. They will float to the top like donuts.
    4. Drain on paper towels.
