Corn Fritters

List of Ingredients
- 1 C. creamed corn
- 1 C. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, separated
- Vegetable oil
Instructions
- Combine corn, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg yolk. Mix well.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter.
- Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil (375 deg.). Deep-fry until golden brown about 3 to 4 minutes. They will float to the top like donuts.
- Drain on paper towels.
